Pharmaceutical is one of the ancient disciplines of Pharmacy carrying a history with it. Initially Pharmacy stores were established in the year 1241 and are still running successfully. Pharmacy was derived from a greek word "pharmakon" which means drug.
The general responsibilities of a pharmacists is to advise the patient on what to eat and what not to eat, guide him or help him to take the right medicine. Professionals in pharmaceutical sales are professionally trained and carry on some surgeries. Pharmacies are those shops which either sell medicines or ingredients of these medicines. The history of pharmacy is very old and it is started much earlier than science or chemistry came into picture.
